This past Wednesday our church joined over 2,000 other churches from around the nation in a vigil to pray for personal, corporate, and national revival –right up to the elections. I am loving the guide we are using! Talking about hitting you square in the eyes with reality of soul and heart! We need to be asked these questions –”self–what is there in every nook and cranny of your life that may be keeping you from your fullest potential for Christ”? If you’re not connected in –get connected to the source of renewal and fire revival. It is there waiting for us –if we will but “humble ourselves and pray and seek His face –and turn from our sin —He will heal our hearts and souls —and maybe –America”
Wow! –that’s the description of yesterday’s worship at GraceView. The music was stirring the hearts no doubts! Our theme for the whole morning was HEAVEN. We’re going to feats at the table together –with Abraham–John–Paul–etc…and most incredible–Jesus! In fact –the feast will start with the “marriage supper of the Lamb” and continue during the 1,000 year reign of Christ on the earth and then continue throughout eternity in Heaven. I’m most positive there will be coffee in Heaven! Golf—I am not sure about ? What do you think ? Animals ? –think so ? –And–Wow! Wow! –we ended the service with “NO MORE NIGHT” -the whole congregation singing. Talking about powerful! And–more and more guest checking us out as well! My cup is running over this morning. —until —I think about having to go to the dentist this am for root canal work—-Oh Well–praise the Lord in all things.
My thoughts go to a relative of mine this morning who is in anguish over His Father who does not know the Lord. He lays in a hospital bed within days of leaving this world he has known for 75 + years. He has heard the truth over and over again by his own family. I have an uncle in the same situationo–maybe not quite at the door of death yet. He says he has been a “good mand and has never done his fellow man harm”. He too-has heard the truth over and over again. Bioth Men-I am convinced are blinded by the enemy. I believe the Lord has given them opportunities to see the light–but both have said no. In fact –There is a line that is crossed by rejecting the Lord–where the call of His Spirit is heard. Would you pray for these two men today as you read this blog. Especially the rich man who is at the door of death–that God would intervene once again with His Spirit’s call.
Wow! Has the chatter over the election changed or what ? What seemed to be a dull-boring election has turned into a media frenzy with the Liberals squirmining and trying to decide what they will say. So funny !!! This new “‘STAR” on the scene has created a national–and international stir! Will she indeed be the next vice-president –maybe president —-maybe one of the most conservative yet ? —I dont know all the answers and neither do you. 
But–we do know the one who does. He puts up and puts down Kings –and “queens” It is all about His purpose and plan for the ages. I have no doubt that the stage is being set and close to being ready if not already–for the return of the Lord. And WOWZY WOWZY –what that will be ——the stir that that will create –when the Lord comes back and all Christians are taken up! Only the media who has rejected Christ will be around. No more debating those who know the truth for sure! The Whitehouse might even be empty! —Until this event occurs–we are called to be “watchmen” on the wall–soldiers of the cross. –And–soldiers of the cross are to be involved in the political process –spreading the salt and light—which includes doing our part to elect those who hold to the truths and biblical mandates of God’s Word. We never vote our pocketbook. We vote HIS WORD. Exciting days ahead in the election. Let’s pray for discernment and “humble ourselves and pray and seek His face–and He will heal our Land “–our hearts—our priorities and purpose of life.
