Today we celebrate the arrival of baby Jesus!  We remind ourselves of His great gift to mankind atleast once a year–although it should be everyday. In this time of global crisis-I encourage you to remind your “world” –those you influence –those to whom you sew seeds of truth and encouragement –that Jesus will be coming soon–not in a manger–but in the clouds to call His church to Himself. From this point on–Life of course will never be the same. We will realize with supernatural eyes and mind that we are now in the clutches of the one we have trusted as savior and served as Lord. For this reason-we do not “play church”. We do “Kingdom Business” –worshipping the Lord and working to spread the message of hope and eternal life with Jesus. The time is short no doubt. There is a time of crisis for every unbeliever just around the corner that no one can adequately describe. Once HE comes –there is no hope for the unbeliever. All will be lost. For the believer–the Christ follower–the crisis of life in this world will be over and we will step into the realm of perfect peace and the incredible presence of God Himself. –So–this Christmas–let’s make the message and purpose of the Christ Child come through our lips to others like never before. After all–this is the reason we are still here and not walking the streets of gold. Plenty of time for that latter. :)

Revelation 2:7 (NIV) -”He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”

No doupt- we are called as royal heirs to God’s Kingdom to be overcomers. Interesting enough is the fact that in the previous verses to this promise, the main character of the Christ Followers life is to be a life of “LOVING GOD”. In fact, though John commended the Ephesian church for taking a stand against doctrinal heresy, he made it clear that Loving God was much more important. This my friend-is the most important discipline of a believer’s life. If we are to Love God–then we must be learning to love Him. First–ask God to teach you to love Him. Second–stay in the word–you will no doubt fall in love with Him the more you read His words. Third–stay on your knees before Him and let His Spirit love on you!
