Today’s Proverb makes this statement: “It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.” (19:2) I heard it said once, “Haste makes waste”. I’m sure that’s true. Yet on the other hand there are those who may possess knowledge but show no zeal. I have no doubt that God intends for us to be people of great enthusiastic zeal when it comes to living our lives for His kingdom purposes. That is, a fire and punch in our steps every day of our lives that drives us to a fruitful and passionate life for Jesus. And on this journey that we call discipleship and followship, Solomon admonishes us to be Men and Women of the Book, drinking the fresh waters of God’s infinite wisdom that He so graciously and freely desires to gives us every step of the way. The cost for not drinking from the well , is running ahead (even though well intentioned) of God and making decisions and turns in the road that are only judged and determined by our own cisterns of thought and reasoning. As for me and as for GraceView Church, I want us to continue in our zeal to be what God intends for us to be and to move as fast as God allows in every area of our ministry. But along this journey we take together as family and friends of GraceView, our heart and commitment must be to follow Him and never be “hasty” (vs.2)- and miss the way. I have seen church after church do this as they get mixed up in the excitement and drive of the moment, and end up sacrificing the Truth and Power of God’s Gospel, and in the end have settled for a Man made fabrication of what true church growth is all about. The Elders recently reminded each other of the importance of being Men of Prayer. We start first in our own individual lives. Then, together as leaders, and corporately as a church family. This is where the Spirit imparts knowledge along with His Word for fruit and power in the life of our church and each of us personally. We are getting ready to turn yet another corner in the life of our church. As we do so, Join me in running the race at GraceView looking for those nuggets of Wisdom God promises to keep us energized and focused on His plans and His gospel of reaching the lost and bringing healing to our community and the nations! —By the way-The signs of the times- they are appearing every day! At the midnight cry, we’ll be going home. So let’s be busy about our Father’s business. J

Thousands of flights disrupted and thousands of people affected! Numerous countries included! The disruption in Europe, which is affecting Heathrow, the world’s busiest international airport, has meant flights around the world have been canceled, stranding hundreds of thousands. We’ve heard the ash is spewing from a volcano beneath a glacier in Iceland. It began erupting Wednesday for the second time in less than a month. The ash has been measured to be between 4-7 miles high. They tell us that volcanic ash contains tiny particles of glass and pulverized rock that can damage engines and airframes. A leading volcanologist said the ash could cause problems to air traffic for up to 6 months if the eruption continued, but even if short-lived the financial impact on airlines could be significant. Wow! In a matter of hours—a day, the damage and consequences of one of nature’s own forces has once again arrested the attention of the world. Well—–hold on —-the world “aint” seen nothin’ yet! I don’t know about you, but I began thinking of that day when Jesus comes in the clouds to claim His Bride and all of the world is affected with millions of redeemed people leaving this place which is not our home, and suddenly there is a disruption never known or fathomed by Mankind. “The skies will unfold, preparing His entrance! The stars shall applaud Him With thunders of praise The sweet light in His eyes, shall enhance those awaiting And we shall behold Him, then face to face! The angel will sound, the shout of His coming And the sleeping shall rise, from there slumbering place And those remaining, shall be changed in a moment And we shall behold him, then face to face!” Child of God—look around—prophecies are being fulfilled every day. Signs of the time, their appearing everyday. We can almost hear the trumpet!—At the midnight cry—we’ll be going home!  If we don’t sound forth His glory and His power and His majesty, surely the rocks and the trees, and all of nature will cry out to the power and glory of creator God—Our Lord, and yes, Our savior! –robbie

What a great turn out for the best Passion Service we have ever had together as a church family! The presence of the Lord was among us no doubt as we took together the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of His sacrifice and atonement for our sin. Thanks to all those who were able to make it! Kudos to those who made the effort to bring guest with you.:) Today is the day of the cross. The day Satan and his cronies were disarmed of any power or authority over the strongholds and chains of sin. The Cross made a public spectacle of them once and for all! When we were dead in our sins, God made us alive through Christ! He cancelled the written code with all its regulations that was against us by nailing it to The Cross! I hope you will join me in making this a day of remembering the ultimate sacrifice that allows us to be more than conquerors in every step of our life’s journey. THIS SATURDAY: Kid’s Easter Egg Hunt from 10 – Noon. Kids will hunt for eggs, enjoy other inflatable fun, hear the story of Easter from Me, and eat Hot Dogs with their parents. Invite your neighbor’s to bring their children. Another way GraceView is going “WIDER”! THIS SUNDAY: The day of celebration! We will be blessed with some great Resurrection Praise & Worship, and then I will be bringing a message I have entitled, “An Empty Tomb for an Empty World”. INVITE! INVITE! INVITE! :) In closing ……I’m still waiting for some of those $100.00 or more donations toward our future facilities! :)

That’s  right –for every word you find I miss spell you are eligible to donate         $ 100.00 personally toward out Future Facilities Fund! Can you believe I would offer this incredible offer? It’s fun! It’s challenging! A chance to point out the dumb mistakes I make while writing my eeeeaaaarrrrlllllyyy morning nuggets of musings. So dear friends and family, sharpen up those spelling skills, and be the first 3 to find the errors of my early morning fingers, and You will be publicly commended for your hard work, grammatical skill, and your donation of $100.00 for every (that’s right—) every word you find I miss spell in my early morning blogs. —–Whatcha wanna bet Jeff & Jeff don’t find any more of my bloopers?
